SONIC SYNDICATE Confirmed For Sweden's PUTTE I PARKEN Festival

December 18, 2008

Swedish metallers SONIC SYNDICATE have been confirmed for next year's Putte I Parken festival, set to take place July 29 - August 1, 2009 in Karlskoga, Sweden. Also scheduled to appear are IGGY & THE STOOGES, BULLET and PILGRIMZ, among many other acts.

The "Jack of Diamonds" video from SONIC SYNDICATE recently passed the one-million-views mark on YouTube. The clip, which can be seen below, was shot with director Patric Ullaeus (DIMMU BORGIR, LACUNA COIL) of Revolver Film Company. Ullaeus previously worked with the band on the two clips that accompanied SONIC SYNDICATE's 2007 release, "Only Inhuman".

SONIC SYNDICATE recently finished filming two new videos — for the ballad "Contradiction" as well as the heavy track "Powershift" — with director Marius Böttcher of Quent Film. Check out photos from the video shoot at Metal-Hammer.de. Both songs come off the band's latest album, "Love And Other Disasters", which landed at position No. 15 on the Swedish and No. 36 on the German chart back in September.

SONIC SYNDICATE will team up with fellow Swedes DEATHSTARS for a co-headlining tour of Europe in February/March 2009.

"Eden Fire", the debut album from SONIC SYNDICATE, was re-released in the U.S. and Canada on December 9, 2008 through Pivotal Rockordings via Koch Distribution. The LP was originally issued on September 13, 2005.
